Ant1 Cyprus

Ant1 was the first private television station in Cyprus. Since its formation, the station has been the leader in ratings in both its news bulletins as well its local series and foreign entertainment.

The core need of Ant1 Cyprus was to reshape its audience view on how a news portal from the most established media station in Cyprus should be, while totally enhancing its users' experience on the Web TV section.

To begin with, Ant1's logo got adjusted to the client's needs. A modern and robust typography was introduced on both logo and website and at the same time the color palette changed radically to boost the users' experience in a pleasant yet distinctive way through the different sections. For the news section, calmer and easier to read colors were chosen to motivate the readers navigate smoothly through the multiple sections and focus on the news articles without distractions. On the contrary, WebTV colors promote a more vivid and intriguing environment, closer to the television's vibrant feeling.

The news section pays special attention to keep the users reading and exploring more articles on the topics that are of their own interest.

The WebTV section gives access to all TV content in the most efficient way for the users; from tv shows to tv guide and live tv, all were designed and developed to focus on the usability and easy access. Video on demand service is also provided by Pixual.

The editors' experience was significantly upgraded with Drupal 9 implementation making easier the content management on both news and tv section.
